RUISU
In the section of Jade in Shuowen Jiezi (Explanations of Simple and Compound Chinese Characters), "瑞(rui)" is explained as "using jade as a token of trust." This signifies expressing honesty and sincerity through jade. Since the Qin Dynasty until the Qing Dynasty, the credibility of the nation was represented by jade, called "yuxi" (imperial jade seal), which originated from the character "瑞(rui)". Meanwhile, "瑞(rui)" is often used to symbolize auspiciousness and good omen, such as in the expression "auspicious snow heralds a bumper year." On the other hand, "苏(su)" has the meaning of rejuvenation and revival, as seen in expressions like "all things come to life" (万物复苏).
"瑞苏(ruisu)" embodies the aspiration of all Ruisu people to be rooted in Suzhou, uphold integrity as the foundation, and respect customers as the priority. The name "瑞苏(ruisu)" also signifies auspicious rejuvenation or the blessing of a new birth.
